Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
California, Colorado, Connecticut, and several other U.S. states give you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. This page tells you what that means at Selects and how to opt out.
Effective June 2, 2026
What this means at Selects
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We do use advertising tools, such as Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, that may share information with advertising platforms so we can measure and improve our ads. Under California's CCPA and similar laws in other states, that activity can qualify as "sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising."
You can opt out at any time. Opting out does not affect your ability to use selects.co or our services. You will still see ads from us; they just will not be personalized based on your browsing.
How to opt out
Option 1: Global Privacy Control (recommended)
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser or extension signal that automatically tells every site to opt you out. Once enabled, you do not need to opt out site by site.
- How to enable it: globalprivacycontrol.org
- We honor GPC for the browser sending it.
Option 2: Email us
Email hello@selects.co with "Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing" in the subject line. Include the email address you have used with us so we can match the request.
We process opt-out requests within 15 business days.
Option 3: Industry tools
You can also use these industry opt-out tools, which apply across many advertisers:
- Digital Advertising Alliance: aboutads.info/choices
- Network Advertising Initiative: youradchoices.com
- Meta ad preferences: facebook.com/settings/ads
- Google ad settings: myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. Email us with their authorization in writing, signed and dated. We may still verify directly with you.
What happens after you opt out
- We disable advertising-related sharing for that browser or account.
- Pixels and cookies used for cross-context behavioral advertising will be turned off for you.
- We do not retaliate or change the level of service we offer.
